What Are Injectables?

Wrinkle softeners and dermal fillers are the two primary types of anti-aging injectables. Wrinkle relaxers work by relaxing the muscles at the injection site, preventing the skin from creasing and forming wrinkles. Wrinkle relaxers work well for "expression lines" including frown and surprise lines on the forehead, as well as crow's feet around the eyes.

Deep beneath your skin, injectable dermal fillers tackle the indications of aging. They restore volume, improve the form of different places, and fill up wrinkles to restore your young fullness. Filler materials injected beneath the skin can fill in deep folds such as nasolabial folds (lines going from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth), create bigger lips, and fill in hollow cheeks and eyes.

Also, Botox injections are used to reduce wrinkles on the face. One of the most widely known brands of botulinum toxin injections is Botox®. The botulinum toxins affect nerves and weaken muscles. By blocking nerve signals, Botox prevents muscles from contracting. Therefore, injected muscles cannot contract. The effects are always temporary, but they can last for several months. Depending on the primary concern, a different muscle will be injected. In one session, several areas can be treated.

There are several areas of your face where this treatment can smooth fine lines and wrinkles, including:
•    Eyebrows.
•    Forehead.
•    Nose.
•    Eyes (crow’s feet).
•    Lips.
•    Chin.
•    Jawline.
•    Neck

Treatments should be repeated every three to six months to maintain results.
